Wonders of Persia Tour. Do you like to visit the center of early human settlement in the central desert of Iran and stay one night in an exciting village that its houses are carved out of the stone in the foothills? Meymand is the name of this village. It is a UNESCO world heritage site and was awarded UNESCO’s 2005 Melina Mercouri Prize. A very beautiful Caravanserai in the middle of a vast desert and very simple accommodations. Here no wall separates the rooms from each other and what you will see is just curtains. Day 1

Day 2

Shiraz

Start a beautiful morning in Shiraz to visit Zandieh Complex (Karim khan’s Citadel, Pars Museum, Vakil Bath, Vakil Mosque, Vakil Bazaar- the traditional bazaar of Shiraz and Moshir Caravanserai). Shiraz was a significant township in Achaemenid times and the treasure trove of Persian culture. It is the birthplace of the great Persian poets Hafiz and Saadi and is known as the city of poets, garden, nightingales, and flowers. In the afternoon we continue our tour by visiting Jahan Nama Garden, Hafez & Saadi Tomb, Quran Gate and Ali Ebne Hamze shrine. Hotel in Shiraz Breakfast
Day 3

Shiraz - Persepolis

Full day excursion to Persepolis , a world heritage site backed by Mount Rahmat and is the Ancient Persian capital, then Naghsh-E-Rostam and Naghsh-E-Rajab; and the Tomb of Cyrus the great i.e. Pasargadae. Overnight Shiraz. Hotel in Shiraz Breakfast
Day 4

Shiraz – Meymand Village

Drive to Shahr-E- Babak to visit the rocky civilized village of Meymand which is located in 40 km from Shahr-E-Babak .this village with its peculiar style in architecture and construction of houses has an extensive History, going back to the 8th century (12000 years ago); enroute visiting the Sassanian Palace at Sarvestan and the world’s biggest Fig gardens. Day 5

Kerman

Drive to Kerman, one of the recent world’s 1000 cleanest cities with a strong cultural heritage, Full day excursions to Rayen to visit the Arg-E-Rayen, en-route visit the Shah Nematolah-e Vali Shrine, and Prince Gardens at Mahan. Hotel in Kerman Breakfast
Day 6

Kerman – Zaynodin Caravansarai

Half day visit of Kerman to see the Ganj-Ali Khan Complex (Bath, Caravanserai and Bazaar), Friday Mosque, then drive to Zaynodin Caravansarai that is known as the paradise of astrologists and you can visit the pure and starry sky of desert and relax for some hours. Day 7

Zaynodin Caravansarai – Yazd

Drive to Yazd to Visit Zoroastrian Towers of Silence, Fire Temple, Mir-Chakhmaq Mosques and the Water Museum. Allocate a time for a short walk in the old and traditional parts of the city in long, narrow lanes and experience the sense of being stopped at the time. Hotel in Yazd Breakfast
Day 8

Yazd – Isfahan

Drive to Isfahan with a short stop in Naiin to visit Jame Mosque, Pirnia Traditional House. Based on the time we can visit Rigareh Watermill and Aba Bafi man-made caves in Muhammadieh precinct. Hotel in Isfahan Breakfast
Day 9

Isfahan

Full day city tour of Isfahan to visit palace of Forty Columns or Chehel Sotun, it was built by Shah Abbas II in 1647 as a reception hall and has 20 columns made of cypress wood but the reflection of these twenty columns in the adjacent pool and provide the other twenty; So, known as forty columns. We will continue Isfahan sightseeing by visiting Naghsh-e-Jahan Square (Image of the World Square). It is the second largest square of the world and one of the world heritage sites of Iran. The square is 160 meters wide by 508 meters long and was initially intended as the site of state ceremonies and sporting events, but by 1602, the Shah had added a commercial element with the construction of two-story shops along the perimeter. Jame Mosques is on the south end, the Lutfallah Mosque on the east, the Ali Qapu Palace on the west, and a Grand Bazaar on the north end. Day 10

Isfahan

In the morning we embark on a city tour that covers the rest of highlights of this celebrated historical city and visit the magnificent Jame Atiq Mosque. Another world heritage sites of Iran in UNESCO and one of the oldest mosques of Iran. Ali Gholi Agha Complex that consists of a bath, Mosque and Bazaar. The Hasht-Behesht Palace and Vank Cathedral. Day 11

Isfahan – Abyaneh – Kashan

In the third day, we depart from Isfahan to Abyaneh a tourist village and is known as a living history museum that has kept its architecture ( all in red clay), ceremonies and culture, language, clothing and etc. Continue our way to Kashan to visit Tabatabaie Residence, Fin Garden, Bazaar and Tapeh Sialk or Sialk Ziggurat. It is claimed to be the world’s oldest ziggurat, dating to the 3rd millennium BC and discoveries in this region has revealed that here was one of the primary centers of civilization in pre-historic ages. Day 12

Kashan – Tehran

Drive to Tehran, Half day city tour of Tehran to visit Niavaran & Saad Abad Palace, Carpet Museum. In the first day of staying in Tehran we will introduce you a completely different attraction that it is worth to visit and we suggest you don’t miss it out. But let us tell you when you are here. Tehran

Full day city tour of Tehran to visit Golestan Place that is The oldest of the historic monuments in Tehran and a world heritage. It is consists of 17 palaces, museums, and Halls and originally built during the Safavid dynasty The Archaeological or National Museum which is the combination of two museums, the old Archaeological Museum of Iran and the modernistic white travertine National Arts Museum with eight departments, Glass Museum and if we had time Jewellery Museum (it is open from Saturday to Tuesdays); then transfer to airport for departure flight.
