ArrivalAt Tehran International Airport

Arrival in Tehran, transfer to hotel to rest. Overnight Tehran 

Day 1Tehran

Full day city tour of Tehran Golestan palace complex (UNESCO World Heritage site), Iran national museum, Jewelry museum depending on the day of week and Tehran grand bazaar. Overnight Tehran

Day 2Tehran-Zanjan

Drive to Zanjan, en route will have a short stop in Qazvin city to visit Jame mosque, Chehel sotoon palace, Qazvin grand bazaar and Sa’ad Al Saltaneh caravanserai complex. Then head to Soltanieh dome (UNESCO World Heritage site) as the third largest dome in the world. Overnight Zanjan 

Day 3Zanjan-Masuleh

Drive to Masuleh. En route visiting the Rural museum in Rasht.

Day 4Masuleh-Ardabil-Sarein

Drive from Masouleh to Ardabil city through the Fandoghloo Forest Heiran neck. In Ardabil you will visit Sheikh Safi-o-din Soofi complex (UNESCO World Heritage). Overnight in Sarein  in which you can enjoy the hot mineral water (spa)

Day 5Sarein-Kandovan-Tabriz

In the morning, you can enjoy one of the spa complexes of Sarein. Then Drive to Tabriz via  Kandovan rock village. Overnight Tabriz

Day 6Tabriz-Jolfa

Full day city tour of Tabriz including Grand Bazaar (UNESCO World Heritage) as one of the largest bazaar complexes in Iran and blue mosque. Then drive to Jolfa to visit another UNESCO World Heritage site there, Saint Stepanos Monastery. Overnight Jolfa

Day 7Jolfa-Urmia

First of all, visit the UNESCO World Heritage monastery called Qara Kelisa or Black Church. Then drive to Urmia city to see its Bazaar and Jame mosque. Overnight Urmia

Day 8Urmia-Takab

Drive to Takab, en route visiting Urmia lake as the biggest Salt Lake of Iran. Your next stop will be Karaftoo historical cave then visiting one of the most important Zoroastrian Fire Temples in the ancient time Takht-e-Soleiman(UNESCO World Heritage). Overnight Takab

Day 9Takab-Kermanshah

Drive from Takab to Kermanshah. Your first stop will be at Bistoon or Behistun ensemble (UNESCO World Heritage). After visiting all of the monuments of Behistun you will drive to the city of Kermanshah to see Taq-e-Bostan Sassanid bas-reliefs. Overnight you will stay at an amazing 500 years old caravanserai.

Day 10Kermanshah-Khoramabad-Shushtar

Depart to Shushtar via Khoramabad. In Khram abad you will visit Falak-al-Aflak castle.  In Shushtar city, you are going to see famous monuments of this ancient city such as Mizan dam, Salasel castle and Shushtar historical hydraulic system (UNESCO World Heritage).

Day 11Shushtar-Ahvaz

An excursion to Susa to see ruins of the ancient city of Susa as one of the most important archaeological sites of the world and also one the oldest cities in the world (UNESCO World Heritage). You will also visit the best preserved Ziggurats of the world (Chogha Zanbil Ziggurat) from 3300 years ago (UNESCO World Heritage). Your last stop will be Haft Tappeh archaeological site-museum from the Middle Elamite period. Overnight Ahvaz.

Day 12Ahvaz-Shiraz

Early in the morning drive to Shiraz (long drive), en route you will visit Bishapur ancient city and Tang-e-Chowgan ensemble from the Sassanid empire (Both sites are UNESCO World Heritage).

Day 13Shiraz

An excursion to Persepolis, Necropolis and Pasargadae which are all UNESCO World Heritage sites.

Day 14Shiraz

Full day city tour of Shiraz including Nasir Al Molk mosque (Pink mosque), Narenjestan Ghavam mansion, Tomb of Saadi, Tomb of Hafez, Eram garden (UNESCO World Heritage) and Zandieh complex (Vakil bazaar, Vakil mosque, Vakil Hammam and Karimkhan’s citadel). Overnight Shiraz

Day 15Shiraz

An excursion to Firooz Abad to visit Qale Dokhtar (Daughter’s castle), Ardeshir Babakan palace and Goor historical city.  All sites you are going to see are UNESCO World Heritage.  

Day 16Shiraz-Kerman

Drive from Shiraz to Kerman. en route you will visit Sarvestan Sassanid palace (UNESCO World Heritage) then Meymand village. This village is 2500 years old and all houses are carved in the rocks of the canyon over there (UNESCO World Heritage). Overnight Kerman.  

Day 17Kerman

Half day city tour of Kerman including Grand Bazaar, Ganjalikhan complex and Jame mosque. Then an excursion to Shadad to go to the Lut desert (UNESCO World Heritage). Overnight Kerman

Day 18Kerman-Bam

Leave Kerman to Bam via Mahan and Rayen. In Mahan you will visit Shah Nematollah Valli soofi complex and Shazdeh (Prince) garden (UNESCO World Heritage). Your next stop will be  Rayencastle. In the afternoon you are going to see Bam citadel. Bam citadel is the largest mud brick construction of the world and its construction is amazing. After the famous Bam earthquake in 2003 the whole site and landscape around it were registered as UNESCO World Heritage sites.

Day 19Bam-Zabol

Drive from Bam to Zabol. First stop will be at the archaeological site-museum of Shahr-e-Sukhte (UNESCO World Heritage). This ancient city dates back to the bronze age and is 5000 years old. Shahr-e-Sukhtehwas was a very modern city in the old time. Second stop will be at Kooh-e-Khajeh castle. This monument dates back to the Phartian and Sassanid era and was a very important Zoroastrian Fire Temple in  the region.

Day 20Zabol-Birjand

Drive to Birjand. On the way you will visit Makhoonik village which is famous as the village of the dwarfs in Iran. Then continue by visiting Forg citadel. Forg was one of the Assassins’ castles in this part of Iran.

Day 21Birjand

Full day city tour of Birjand including Birjand castle, Kolah Farangi mansion, Shokat Al Doleh madrasa, Birjand old town, Rahim Abad garden and Akbarieh garden (UNESCO World Heritage).

Day 22Birjand-Tabas

Drive to Tabas via Esfahak village. In Tabas you are going to see Tabas old fort and Golshan garden. There will be a nice trekking in the valley of Morteza Ali to get to the natural spring which is a hot spa and also to visit Shah Abbasi historical arch.

Dy 23Tabas-Yazd

Drive to Yazd via Kharanaq mud village.

Day 24Yazd

 Full day city tour of Yazd including trekking in the old town, Jame mosque, Amir Chakhmaq square, Water museum, Zoroastrian Fire Temple, Silence Towers and Dowlat Abad garden (UNESCO World Heritage). Overnight Yazd

Day 25Yazd-Isfahan

Drive to Isfahan via Meybod and Nain. In Meybod you will visit pigeon tower, Narin (Narenj) castle, shah abbasi caravansary and Ice house. In Nain  Jame mosque and Pirnia house will be in your plan.

Day 26Isfahan

 Full day city tour of Isfahan including Naqhe Jahan Complex (UNESCO World Heritage) to visit Ali Qapu palace, Shah and Sheikh lotfollah mosques,Chehel Sotoun palace, Isfahan grand bazaar. Overnight Isfahan

Day 27Isfahan

Full day city tour of Isfahan including Jame mosque of Isfahan (UNESCO World Heritage), Armenian quarter of the city called Jolfa, Vank cathedral, Sio Se Pol & Khajoo bridges.Overnight Isfahan

Day 28Isfahan-Abyaneh-Kashan

 Drive to Kashan via the red village of Adbyaneh. In Kashan you will visit  fin garden (UNESCO World Heritage), Kashan old town,  Boroujerdiha and Tabatabaei houses, Agha bozorg mosque, Sultan Amir Ahmed bath, Sialk ancient hill. Overnight Kashan

Day 29Kashan-Shahroud

Drive to Sharood via Semnan and Damghan. In Semnan you will visit the bazaar, Jame mosque, Hammam and old gate of the city. In Damghan, Tarikhaneh mosque and Hesar archaeological site will be in your plan. Overnight Shahroud

Day 30Shahrood-Gorgan

Drive from Shahrood to Gorgan. Your first stop today is at Bastam town to visit Sheikh of Bastam shrine and mosque. Then continue north to go to Gonbad-e-Kavus city to see the Gonbad-e-Qabus brick tower. This tower is the highest brick tower of Iran and is UNESCO World Heritage. After visiting the tower, drive to Gorgan city and visit Nahar Khoran boulevard in the middle of forests. 

Day 31Gorgan-Tehran

Before your departure to Tehran you will visit the old town of Gorgan and the fruit market in it. Thendrive to Bandar-e-Turkmen to see the traditional market of this town by the sea. Then drive to Tehran. Overnight Tehran

Day 32Tehran-Departure

Full day city tour of Tehran including Tabiat bridge, Saadabad and Niavaran Palaces. Transfer to the airport for your flight back.

Is it safe to travel to Iran?

Iran is a safe country and it has a great level of medical range but anyway, caution is necessary for any country while you are traveling.

Which currency is most widely accepted on this tour?

Our Agency accepts both Euro and dollars (USD).
For your other costs in Iran, you need to bring Euros and dollars in cash then you can easily change them at the exchange offices.
The currency in Iran is Rial and all of the bills are according to it. All money should be exchanged with Rial, but you will also hear about Toman so don’t get confused. For example, 100,000 Rials equals 10,000 Tomans or 10000 Rials equals 1000 Tomans.
Please be informed that credit cards don’t work in Iran and all expenses here should be paid in cash in the local market.

What is the dress code in Iran?

There are dress codes in Iran that you need to follow but don’t worry, the rules of wear in Iran aren’t so strict for tourists and foreigners.
Women can wear a tunic, jeans, loose pants, a long ankle skirt, and a scarf (Hijab in Iran is compulsory) and Men can wear everything except short pants that end above or at the knee.

What is cancellation policy?

In case you wish to cancel your tour and do not wish to reschedule the tour due to any reason the cancellation policy will be as follow
30 days prior to departure: 25% of the total charge
Between 30 to 7 days prior to departure: 50% of total charges
Less than 7 days prior to departure or no-show: 100% of total charges.
