We have designed our Impressions of Iran Tour, in a way that it covers Iran’s main cities like Tehran, shiraz, Isfahan and Yazd as well as Ahvaz and an experience of rural life.

The tour will start and end in Tehran.

Tehran as a capital of Iran is the most crowded city of the country. The city is not that much old but you will be amazed by its palaces and museums from the previous rulers of Iran like Pahavi and Qajar.

Ahvaz is located in  the southwest of Iran and has a long hot summers and short winters so just forget it if you are going to be here during Summer.

This city is the capital of Khuzestan province, one of the center of ancient civilization, Elamites. The province it has some remained sites to visit from old time.

Choqa Zanbil (listed as one of the UNESCO World Heritages) an impressive five story temple with mud brick structure dating back to Elamite empire, built approximately in 1250 BC is one of the few ziggurats located out of Mesopotamia but the best preserved one.

Shiraz is famous for splendid Persepolis and its people daily life.

Then you will drive towards Bavanat to have an experience of living with rural family .

We continue our trip with visiting desert city of Yazd, the city of wind towers, an unforgettable perspective of mud structure houses.

Isfahan is well known in all the world, The city of turquoise mosques and full of handmade arts.

And finally you will drive back to Tehran via the city of Kashan. On your way to Kashan you will visit the red village of Abyaneh.

In Kashan you will stay at one hotels in a traditional home style.

Day 1
Arrival in Tehran
Arrival to Tehran, transfer to hotel.

Day 2
Tehran – Ahvaz
Full day city tour of Tehran to visit Golestan Place that is both a historic site and museum. It is a complex that consists of 17 palaces, museums, and Halls and it is worth to spend a few hours to visit its luxuriously decorated rooms, nice and big dining area and ballroom and well landscaped Gardens and fountains. The Archaeological or national museum of Iran that represents you many different periods of Iran’s rich history, Glass and Carpet Museums. Flight to Ahvaz in the evening.

Day 3
Full day excursion to susa to visit Achaemenid Palace. This palace was built 2500 years ago in western Iran, lay at the centre of the Persian Empire that stretched from the Nile and the Aegean to the Indus Valley; Susa Museum and the traditional burial place of the biblical prophet Daniel .i.e. Daniel. Then Chogha Zanbil (Ziggurat) the ancient Elamite complex that was built about 1250 BC by the king Untash-Napirisha, mainly to honor the great god Inshushinak. It was added to UNESCO’s World Heritage List in 1979. Finally visiting Haft Tappe.

Day 4
Ahvaz – Shush – Shiraz
Excursion to shush to visit Shushtar historical hydraulic system which is an island city from the Sassanid era with a complex irrigation system that has been registered on UNESCO’s list of World Heritage Sites in 2009. The site has been referred to as “a masterpiece of creative genius” by UNESCO .Then Old city of Shushtar .Drive back to Ahvaz and flight to Shiraz.

Day 5
Start a beautiful morning in Shiraz to visit Zandieh complex (Karim khan’s citadel, pars museum, Vakil bath, Vakil mosque, Vakil bazaar- the traditional bazaar of Shiraz and Moshir caravanserai). Shiraz was a significant township in Achaemenid times and the treasure trove of Persian culture. It is the birthplace of the great Persian poets Hafiz and Saadi and is known as the city of poets, garden, nightingales and flowers. In the afternoon we continue our tour by visiting Jahan Nama Garden, Hafez & Saadi tomb, Quran gate and Ali ebne Hamze shrine.

Day 6
Full day city tour of Shiraz to visit Eram Garden, Jame Atiq Mosque & Nasir Almolk Mosque, Narenjestan Palace, Zinat-al-Molk House. In the afternoon free at leisure to explore the surroundings. There is a delicious Persian cold desert made from corn starch, sugar and rose water. It is originally from Shiraz; so, don’t miss the taste of it even if the time of your travel is winter.

Day 7
Shiraz – Bavanat
Drive to Bavanat County in which you can experience Iran village life with its nice people and organic food. Enroute visiting Persepolis, Naghsh-e-Rostam and Naghsh-e-rajab; then the Capital of ancient Persia and the Tomb of Cyrus the great i.e. Pasargadae. (It is possible to visit nomad life, too, but depend on the date of your travel, i.e., you can have a memorable experience of nomad living on April and September).

Day 8
Bavanat – Yazd
After spending a memorable night with one of the finest tourism families (Barzegar family) we will start our tor in Bazm village by participating in their lifestyle and preparing your breakfast by yourself such as milking the cow and etc. it is optional and not obligatory at all but will lead you into a new era of hospitality and tourism. Then a light trek in a green and lush nature to visit one of largest natural walnut forests of the world. After lunch drive to Yazd with a short a short stop in Abarqu to visit Zoroastrian Sarv.

Day 9
We start the tour by visiting tower of silence, fire temple, Amir Chakhmagh complex, Laariha house and Dowlat abad garden.

Day 10
Yazd – Isfahan
Drive to Isfahan with a short stop in Na’in to visit Jame Mosque, Pirnia traditional house. Based on time we can visit Rigareh Water mill and Aba Bafi man made caves in Muhammadieh precinct.

Day 11
Full day city tour of Isfahan to visit palace of forty columns or Chehel sotun, it was built by Shah Abbas II in 1647 as a reception hall and has 20 columns made of cypress wood but the reflection of these twenty columns in the adjacent pool and provide the other twenty; So, known as forty columns . We will continue Isfahan sightseeing by visiting Naghsh-e-Jahan Square (Image of the World Square). It is the second largest square of the world and one of the world heritage sites of Iran. The square is 160 meters wide by 508 meters long and was initially intended as the site of state ceremonies and sporting events, but by 1602, the Shah had added a commercial element with the construction of two-story shops along the perimeter. Jame Mosques is on the south end, the Lutfallah Mosque on the east, the Ali Qapu Palace on the west, and a grand bazaar on the north end. We finish a busy day of sightseeing by walking along the Zayande Rood River and Isfahan famous ancient bridges (Si-o-Se Pol & Khadju).

Day 12
In the morning embark on a city tour that covers the rest of highlights of this celebrated historical city and visit the magnificent Jame Atiq Mosque. Another world heritage sites of Iran in UNESCO and one of the oldest mosques of Iran. Ali Gholi Agha Complex that consists of a bath, Mosque and Bazaar. The Hasht-Behesht palace and vank cathedral.

Day 13
Isfahan – Abyaneh – Kashan
Drive to Abyaneh, a tourist village and is known as a living history museum that has kept its architecture (all in red clay), ceremonies and culture, language, clothing and etc then kashan to visit Tabatabaie Residence, Fin garden, bazaar and tapeh sialk or Sialk ziggurat. It is claimed to be the world’s oldest ziggurat, dating to the 3rd millennium BC and discoveries in this region has revealed that here was one of the primary centers of civilization in pre-historic ages.

Kashan – Qom – Imam Airport
Drive to Imam Airport for departure flight with a short stop in Qom for visiting the holy shrine of Hazrat Masoomeh.
